KARACHI: Mohammad Nawaz dominated with the ball in second ODI against New Zealand, picking up four wickets for 38 runs in his 10 overs.

The left-arm spinner helped Pakistan bowl out visitors for 261 runs in 49.5 overs. Pakistan batters couldn't chase down the target, getting all out for just 182 runs.

While talking about his performance during post-match presser, Nawaz said he enjoyed bowling on this [Karachi] surface.

"This pitch was different as compared to typical Karachi pitch. Spinners were getting assistance and that was the reason why both teams couldn't continue batting longer," he said.

"As a professional, I always try to adjust in the conditions and play according to my natural game," he added.

Nawaz deceived Kane Williamson after the right-handed batter survived twice on dropped chances. Williamson was batting at 85 when Nawaz bowled a typical left-arm spin delivery to get rid of him.

Speaking about this dismissal, Nawaz agreed that it was special for him. "It was a typical left-arm spin delivery which gave immense satisfaction to me," he replied to a question.

Pakistan missed some chances in the field. Nawaz believes that their fielding could have been better.

"We struggled in fielding as compared to first game. There is need of improvement and we will work on it," he concluded.
